About The Position
Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to help develop and deliver factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure. This role involves working alongside project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists to transform how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed using digital innovation and AI. The team aims to build smarter, safer, and more sustainably for the future. Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects may direct applications through various legal entities depending on the role and location, with benefits varying accordingly.
Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in cost estimating or quantity surveying.
- Proficient in the use of advanced functions in CostX to produce estimates, bills, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) at an appropriate level.
- Contact preparation skills.
- Post contract administration skills.
- Project close-out skills.
- Team player with clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with data centers or similar mission-critical projects.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar cognate qualification.
- MRICS status.
- Knowledge of relevant construction technologies and trends (e.g., Sustainability).
- Field experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, cost plans, and benchmarking reports.
- Develop Value Engineering and Life Cycle Costing options.
- Identify risks, support risk registers, and contribute to pre-contract and procurement processes.
- Attend client and design team meetings, advise on cost implications, and capture key actions.
- Assist with lease negotiations, change orders, invoices, cost reports, and development appraisals.
- Contribute to project templates and draft qualification questionnaires.
- Take on additional duties as required.
