About The Position

SCS Engineers is seeking a highly experienced and talented Senior Project Manager to lead its growing Environmental Services (ES) team in southeastern Pennsylvania and to serve the overall Pennsylvania environmental consulting market. This position can be based in our Lansdale or Denver, PA offices. The role involves growing the company's presence in the geographic area, focusing on industries such as oil and gas/mining, utilities, manufacturing, and real estate, as well as serving existing SCS ES clients. The role offers a hybrid work option in either the Lansdale, PA or Denver, PA offices.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters in an environmental-related science or engineering field required
• 10+ years of related work experience required
• 5+ years working at an environmental consulting firm required
• Pennsylvania Act 2 project experience required
• Business Development experience in the Pennsylvania market required
• Valid driver's license and driving record in good standing required

Nice To Haves

• Membership/Experience with Pennsylvania professional organizations such as Pennsylvania PE or PG preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop new and existing clients
• Integrate with other ES staff across the company
• Manage and be responsible for profit/loss of Pennsylvania projects
• Seek profitable ways to increase ES staff across Pennsylvania
• Manage and continue to build a team of ES professionals to support growth
• Play a lead role in new client acquisition
• Collaborate with others at SCS to develop strategies for expanding ways in which we contribute to our clients' success
• Draft and review proposals
• Enhance the value of the services that we perform for existing clients
• Work with a team of professionals, including SCS' national experts in various fields, to assist clients in resolving a wide variety of environmental challenges
• Groundwater Monitoring and Reporting
• Hydrogeologic Investigations
• Due Diligence including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
• Soil and Groundwater Remediation
• Brownfield Redevelopment
• Environmental Compliance
• Mining and Energy Liquids Management Issues
• Air Permitting and Compliance Reporting
