About The Position

The Senior Project Manager plans and oversees the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and requirements. At this level, projects are typically of moderate to high complexity, risk, and exposure. The role may also be accountable for providing immediate supervision to project administration and coordination roles. The project will be initiated immediately, requiring the project manager to work with the operations team to identify and collect requirements. An immediate risk assessment, cost estimates, and a kick-off meeting with all concerned parties are necessary for introduction and forecasting next steps. Funding is generally completed "on the fly," necessitating a good understanding of benchmarking and/or current industry costs to provide budgets to the client. The candidate must be able to work independently on challenges to ensure the project keeps moving and understands the importance of a regular cadence of communication. They will need to navigate the client's organization to capture who should be engaged and when for project updates.

Requirements

  • College or University degree preferably in architectural technology, construction technology, engineering technology or equivalent work experience
  • More than 5 years of project management work experience
  • Advanced ability to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, within specifications, and in-compliant with all requirements including but not limited to regulatory, environmental, health, and safety requirements.
  • Advanced ability to develop and manage project budget
  • Advanced ability to mitigate and manage project risks
  • Highly advanced ability to influence, persuade and negotiate to achieve desired outcomes
  • Highly advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly advanced ability to develop and maintain relationships with project stakeholders

  • Computer proficiency in MS Office applications in particular – MS Project, MS Excel, MS Outlook, along with ability to quickly learn new applications
  • English is required because you will be dealing with English-speaking customers as part of your job.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors project delivery against timelines and ensures timely completion.
  • Oversees the activities of project team members and monitors project task completion.
  • Communicates project status to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and requirements, and complies with all regulatory, environmental, and health and safety requirements.
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with clients.
  • Responsible for resolving issues, managing client expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • May be accountable for providing immediate supervision to project administration and coordination roles.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $92,942 - $116,178 per annum
