The Senior Project Manager leads, actively participates in, and drives all phases of large-scale and complex organizational projects to ensure that project goals and objectives are accomplished within the business plan and Project Management Process. This role is responsible for the quality and timeliness of assigned projects and achieving desired results. The Senior Project Manager leads the day-to-day management of projects from concept through definition of business requirements and processes, to systems development, testing, and implementation. They also play a lead role in the development of the PMO strategic plan, execution, policies, models, and performance measures. Additionally, this role involves coaching and mentoring other project managers, working directly with business units to understand project needs, designing and analyzing workflows, and establishing necessary resources. A key aspect of the role is building and sustaining relationships with stakeholders at various organizational levels, including executive leadership, and managing project scope by assessing requirement changes and their impact on budget, time, and risk. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for documenting progress and archiving project activities and findings.
