The City and County of Denver is seeking an interdisciplinary Senior Project Manager for Denver International Airport (DEN). This role is part of the Design, Engineering, and Construction (DEC) team, which manages over $325 million in annual design and construction projects for the airport's built environment. The Senior Project Manager will primarily focus on leading project development, coordination, and planning for facility construction projects within the Airport Capital Improvement Plan and other arising projects. This position requires effective coordination, communication, and collaboration with DEN stakeholders, project managers, architects, engineers, and subject matter experts to develop strategies, feasibility, and implementation support for construction work around the Terminal, Concourses, and outlying buildings. The goal is to ensure operational continuity, schedule alignment, system optimization, and to develop project efficiencies that minimize impact on DEN customers. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for delivering complex, high-value facility projects, including major rehabilitation and new construction of building envelopes, mechanical, structural, and electrical systems in both secure and non-secure areas. This role will also involve leading and mentoring staff, ensuring adherence to design and construction standards, championing project objectives, and evaluating program delivery methods.
