About The Position

Clio is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their Project Management Office (PMO) team in Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto. The PMO leads the company’s most strategic, complex, and cross-functional projects and programs, working closely with teams across the entire organization and at all levels. The PMO is part of the Business Operations department, which focuses on driving results through strategic, operational, and data-driven improvements and growth, acting as a key partner in implementing Clio’s long-term strategy. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder, possesses a strategic mindset, drives strategic decision-making, focuses teams on impactful work, brings clarity to ambiguity, is a problem solver with human-centric solutions, and is meticulously organized with the ability to see the big picture across projects, priorities, and teams to identify dependencies, gaps, risks, decisions, and opportunities.

Requirements

  • PMP certification or similar is required.
  • Demonstrated strategic mindset.

  • Problem solver who looks for common sense and human-centric solutions.

  • Meticulously organized.
  • 4+ years experience working in project management or adjacent disciplines in a fast-growing SaaS/tech company.
  • Experience conducting needs assessments, scoping project tasks and deliverables, facilitating decision making alignment discussions, and creating roadmaps and timelines/gantt charts.
  • Experience facilitating workshops with groups and coaching individuals.

Nice To Haves

  • An undergraduate degree in an area that involves project management, business, research, leadership, or software development.
  • Change management certification, and/or additional project management training.
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in improving your craft by using AI.
  • People management experience or if you have held any leadership roles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for a variety of Clio’s most complex cross-functional projects, including launching new product lines, global expansion initiatives, mergers & acquisitions, internal transformation and optimization efforts, and other strategic growth initiatives.
  • Develop execution plans that align to Clio’s strategic vision and goals in close collaboration with functional leaders across the business.
  • Drive strategic alignment and decision-making discussions with project leads and executive stakeholders.
  • Facilitate needs assessments and task scoping with a variety of workstream leaders, and continually test and validate scoping assumptions to ensure teams are working on the right things to achieve project objectives.
  • Identify and highlight dependencies, and facilitate communication and collaboration across cross-functional workstreams.
  • Remove barriers, track blockers, and mitigate risks.
