The Senior Project Manager role involves comprehensive construction management from pre-construction through completion, encompassing design, coordination, budget, and scheduling. This position requires leading project meetings, managing cost reports, and overseeing a team while maintaining strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in ICI, defence sector, healthcare construction, and/or residential projects, including at least 8 years in a Project Manager role
  • Strong working knowledge of construction scopes, project scheduling, project management practices, and contract management software
  • Proven ability to confidently mentor and delegate to a large team, while building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Must have, or be eligible for, CSID (PWSGC) Secret Level Security Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion including design, coordination, budget, and schedule in conjunction with the Superintendent
  • Prepare regular, timely and accurate billings for Owners, and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings
  • Meet with Owners and Architects in a professional manner and have the ability to communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the company
  • Monitor, interpret and forecast a project’s cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flow
  • Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor and support the team’s ongoing development and progression
  • Submit project reports to Area Manager and communicate with management about project progress and areas of risk that need to be escalated
