About The Position

Working within the Ground Improvement practice, you will provide project leadership from opportunity identification and estimating through execution and client delivery. This role is ideal for a Senior Project Professional who combines strong technical and commercial acumen with a passion for building client relationships, leading multidisciplinary teams, and delivering innovative solutions that create lasting value for clients and communities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive project management experience leading geotechnical, ground improvement, heavy civil, foundation, remediation, earthworks, mining, or construction projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management, project controls, contract administration, and commercial management.
  • Strong estimating background with experience developing cost estimates, bid pricing, tender strategies, and proposal submissions.
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and lead high-performing project teams.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements within construction and engineering environments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25% of the time to support project work, field activities, client meetings, and team collaboration.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of ground improvement methods such as stone columns, rigid inclusions, deep soil mixing, wick drains, dynamic compaction, grouting, or related techniques is considered a strong asset.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an asset.

  • Lead the successful delivery of complex ground improvement and geotechnical construction projects across Canada.
  • Develop project execution strategies that drive safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance.
  • Prepare and review estimates, budgets, proposals, and tender submissions to support strategic growth opportunities.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams, providing mentorship and leadership that supports career development and project excellence.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining accountability for scope, schedule, profitability, and contractual obligations.
  • Support business development initiatives by identifying opportunities and contributing to winning pursuits.
  • Champion innovative applied solutions that improve constructability, performance, sustainability, and client outcomes.
