About The Position

Power Integrations is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex semiconductor product development projects across multiple functions and geographies, from concept through production release. The role partners with Business Unit and Engineering leadership and teams across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Applications, Packaging, and Test to keep projects aligned, surface risks early, support timely decisions, and meet commitments. The Senior Project Manager owns integrated project execution, cross-functional alignment, schedule predictability, dependency management, and delivery transparency. This includes maintaining an independent view of execution, anticipating issues and resource constraints, helping leaders evaluate tradeoffs, and establishing clear accountability without direct authority. The position also uses project-management tools, analytics, dashboards, and AI-enabled solutions to improve visibility, automate administrative work, and advance scalable project-management practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
At least 8 years of project management experience in semiconductor, electronics, hardware, or another complex product development environment.
Demonstrated success leading large, cross-functional technical projects.
Strong understanding of semiconductor development lifecycles, including IC development and tapeout, validation, package development, test development, qualification, manufacturing readiness, and production release.
Experience managing critical paths, dependencies, resource constraints, and project risks.
Strong leadership and influencing skills in matrix organizations.
Exceptional communication and executive presentation capabilities.
Proven ability to drive accountability without direct authority.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in a related field.
PMP, PgMP, Agile, or similar project-management certification.
Experience leading global semiconductor development teams.
Familiarity with PLM, ERP, and portfolio-management systems.
Experience implementing AI-enabled project-management or workflow-automation solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional semiconductor product development projects from concept through production release.
Build and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, and critical-path activities.
Align Engineering, Applications, Packaging, Test, Quality, Operations, Marketing, and Business Unit stakeholders.
Establish project objectives, deliverables, dependencies, and success metrics.
Drive accountability and execution across matrixed teams.
Manage integrated project schedules and identify bottlenecks, competing priorities, and resource constraints.
Anticipate dependencies across organizations and development phases, and develop recovery plans when projects deviate from schedule expectations.
Maintain visibility into execution readiness and milestone achievement.
Facilitate timely, data-based decisions; clarify ownership; and ensure actions are completed.
Escalate issues proactively and help leaders understand tradeoffs, risks, and schedule impacts.
Coordinate across technical and business functions, resolve conflicts, remove barriers, and translate organizational priorities into executable plans.
Identify execution risks, assess potential impacts, drive mitigation planning, and monitor project health, resource availability, and milestone readiness.
Use project-management tools, analytics, dashboards, and AI-enabled solutions to improve visibility, automate status gathering and reporting, track actions, and identify risks.
Help advance scalable project-management practices across the organization.
