About The Position

The Senior Project Manager for Construction Administration leads projects from the start of construction through construction administration and closeout, primarily in mission-critical environments. The role works closely with owners, designers, contractors, subcontractors, and other trades. Candidates with MEP design experience who are ready to transition to construction administration leadership are encouraged to apply, as are candidates with design and construction administration experience. The position coordinates with the Senior Project Manager for Design and participates in the design phase to understand project and client requirements, site considerations, scope, standards, codes, and design decisions. This supports a cohesive handoff from design to construction and helps establish client relationships. The role is often the first reviewer of submittals, RFIs, and site issues, with support from construction administrators, design engineers, and the design project manager. The Senior Project Manager is self-directed and independently performs most day-to-day responsibilities. The role manages construction administration, project coordination, client and stakeholder relationships, project documentation, risk, and financial matters while aligning work with organizational and client goals. It also identifies and leads the use of technology, digital platforms, and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, quality, and project controls, while ensuring alignment with data security, privacy, and operational standards. The role is remote and requires travel to project sites weekly, up to 40% per month. Physical demands include frequently remaining stationary and moving through office, facility, and other environments; occasionally moving equipment weighing up to 25 pounds. A bachelor’s degree in a listed engineering discipline or construction management, at least eight years of related experience, and at least three years of onsite or field experience are required.
