Senior Project Manager - Structures
About The Position
EAC Consulting, Inc is looking for their next Senior Project Manager for our Structures business operation. This role involves implementing company policies, developing scopes of services, negotiating fees, planning tasks, leading teams to implement projects on-time and within budget, managing scope, identifying additional services, and achieving high client grades. The position also requires serving as Engineer of Record where needed, developing sound engineering solutions, and implementing Quality Control Plans. Additionally, the role involves maintaining client relationships, seeking business development opportunities, leading pursuits, developing Go/NoGo and Win Plans, contributing technical write-ups, developing presentations, and participating in interviews. The Senior Project Manager will also participate in industry organizations and contribute to brand-building efforts.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience as Project Manager for large projects with multiple disciplines and complexities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.
- FDOT Bridge design experience for category 1 and category 2.
- Technical knowledge of structural engineering and FDOT design standards.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the project development process.
- Proficient knowledge in Bridge Component Design, such as Prestressed Beam, Piers and Foundation.
- Knowledge of Bridge Component Software, such as Conspan and RCPIER.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
- Able to perform land development design, permitting and construction administration services for public and private clients.
- Able to plan, manage and deliver assignments using all project delivery methods.
- Technical knowledge of civil engineering and design standards.
Responsibilities
- Implements the company’s Project Management policies and procedures.
- Develops scope of services and negotiates fees required for success.
- Plans tasks required and leads a team to implement on-time/within budget.
- Manages scope, identifying additional services and working with client to get additional fees.
- Achieves high client grades by meeting/exceeding expectations.
- Works with Project Accountant to invoice client accurately and on-time. Assists with collections when past due.
- Serves as Engineer of Record where needed.
- Develops a sound engineering solution that safely satisfies the scope and needs of the client.
- Implements the Quality Control Plan to deliver quality deliverables.
- Maintains positive relationships with current and past clients.
- Seeks BD opportunities through active marketing with clients.
- Leads or contributes to BD pursuits. Develops Go/NoGo and Win Plans with winning concepts and strategies. Contributes technical write-ups. Develops presentations and participates in interviews.
- Participates in industry organizations and contributes to social media and internal intranet posts to further EAC’s brand.
