Senior Project Manager, Municipal Roads

Requirements
- A university degree in civil engineering or related degree
- P.Eng. designation required
- 10+ years of related project experience on municipal roadway projects
- Familiarity with roadway design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Inroads, ORD)
- Technical excellence in civil & roadway design
- A thorough understanding of the requirements and complexities of the design and management of multi-disciplinary projects, such as utility coordination, construction staging, traffic management, public consultation, external agency approvals, communication and liaison, coordination of sub-consultants and design groups, schedule and budget control, quality control, construction administration and claims resolution
Nice To Haves
- Experience in BRT, LRT including intermodal transit facilities an asset
- Familiarity and experience with various delivery models and P3 projects is an asset
Responsibilities
- Function as a project manager or team lead on municipal roadway projects
- Participate in and support pursuit and business development efforts
- Nurture and develop client relationships
- Prepare project management plans and manage scope, schedule, and budget
- Maintain a close working relationship with all discipline leads, department heads, other project managers, project controls staff, and construction personnel
- Maintain a high level of technical quality on the projects
- Mentor project staff and participate in hiring processes
- Provide effective and efficient management of day-to-day operations within the roads and highways team
