Due to continued growth of our Water Business in Ontario, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager – Linear Infrastructure to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area (Toronto, Mississauga, Markham or Whitby) or Waterloo. This is an opportunity to lead impactful municipal water and wastewater projects while helping expand GHD’s presence across Ontario through client engagement, project delivery and strategic growth initiatives. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • P.Eng. designation with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
  • 10+ years of experience delivering municipal water, wastewater and multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
  • Experience managing projects through design and construction phases.
  • Strong client relationship, business development and proposal-writing skills.
  • Knowledge of linear infrastructure design, construction methods, cost estimating and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with condition assessment, rehabilitation and trenchless technologies is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including linear systems, pump stations, lift stations and storage facilities.
  • Develop and strengthen client relationships, support business development efforts, and contribute to proposal development and project capture strategies.
  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams through planning, design and construction phases.
  • Oversee project scope, budgets, schedules, risks and quality outcomes.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, subconsultants and internal teams to successfully deliver projects.
  • Mentor and develop team members while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
