About The Position

Arcadis is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager - Drinking Water to join our growing Resilience Water team in Columbus, Ohio. This is an exceptional opportunity for a client-focused leader who is passionate about delivering critical water infrastructure projects that improve communities and protect public health. In this role, you will lead some of the Midwest's most complex and impactful drinking water programs, working alongside industry-recognized technical experts and project delivery teams. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of progressive experience delivering drinking water infrastructure projects within the consulting engineering industry
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity

Nice To Haves

  • Established relationships with municipal drinking water clients in Ohio or the broader Midwest region
  • Experience managing water treatment plant planning, design, and construction projects

Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of drinking water projects, including treatment plants, transmission and distribution systems, pump stations, storage facilities, and related infrastructure.
  • Manage all aspects of project execution, including scope, budget, schedule, quality, staffing, risk management, and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to municipal clients, developing strong relationships and identifying opportunities to support their long-term water infrastructure goals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and nationally recognized technical experts to deliver innovative, sustainable, and resilient water solutions.
  • Support business development and strategic growth initiatives through client engagement, proposal development, project pursuits, and industry involvement.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development to engineers and project team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on technical excellence.
