About The Position

The Creative & Marketing team at Snap articulates and brings to life who we are as a brand, why we exist, who we serve, and what value we have to offer. They are on a mission to build a best-in-class international marketing organization. With functions spanning global business and consumer marketing, consumer insights, creative, brand marketing, and marketing operations, the team enables and activates marketing initiatives across the entire Snap Inc. ecosystem. We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to join Snap Inc! Working on the Creative & Marketing team, you will be responsible for project managing a variety of projects both consumer and advertiser focused, owning all project communications and processes from scoping to delivery. The Senior Project Manager must plan and demonstrate a cohesive understanding of the deliverables, tasks, dependencies, team resourcing and forecasting, and creative process. In addition, the Senior PM must constantly assess project risks and communicate contingency plans to the necessary stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple team members across departments (creative teams, leadership/exec team members, engineers, marketers, production).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Superb attention to detail, good judgment, and listening skills.
  • Passion for Snap Inc.’s products and creativity.
  • 5+ years in the industry or related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • High competency and proven track record of project management of large engagements and integrated creative projects.
  • Experience managing a high volume of creative and campaign types in parallel.
  • Experience with various project types, including digital, video, events, and social.

Responsibilities

  • Own the successful execution and delivery of a variety of projects for the Creative & Marketing team regardless of project size across B2B and Events.
  • Own and facilitate conversations regardless of group size or seniority level.
  • Explain things clearly and drive decision making.
  • Be an active listener, and tailor inputs and communication style based on the group.
  • Partner with team leads to properly vet, scope and kickoff assignments.
  • Own and drive all due dates and milestones on projects.
  • Develop and own accurate project documentation, including timelines and scoping documents.
  • Anticipate problems and solve them with little to no inputs needed from manager.
  • Drive process improvements, contributing actively to conversations and workshops as well as proactively suggesting new more efficient ways of working.
  • Have an active and vested interest in the development of the pod and improving ways of working.
  • Care about team building and be a natural collaborator; reach across lines to foster camaraderie, inclusivity, and teamwork.
