About The Position

Snap Inc. is a technology company focused on improving how people live and communicate through its camera-centric products. The Creative & Marketing team is responsible for defining and bringing the brand to life, aiming to build a world-class international marketing organization. This team encompasses functions such as global business and consumer marketing, consumer insights, creative, brand marketing, and marketing operations. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join this dynamic team. The role involves managing a variety of consumer and advertiser-focused projects, overseeing all project communications and processes from initial scoping through to final delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of deliverables, tasks, dependencies, team resourcing, forecasting, and the creative process. Additionally, they must be adept at assessing project risks and communicating contingency plans to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple team members across departments (creative teams, leadership/exec team members, engineers, marketers, production).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Superb attention to detail, good judgment, and listening skills.
  • Passion for Snap Inc.’s products and creativity.
  • 5+ years in the industry or related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • High competency and proven track record of project management of large engagements and integrated creative projects.
  • Experience managing a high volume of creative and campaign types in parallel.
  • Experience with various project types, including digital, video, events, and social.

Responsibilities

  • Own the successful execution and delivery of a variety of projects for the Creative & Marketing team, regardless of project size, across B2B and Events.
  • Serve as an extremely skilled communicator, capable of owning and facilitating conversations across various group sizes and seniority levels.
  • Explain concepts clearly and drive decision-making.
  • Act as an active listener, tailoring communication style and inputs based on the audience.
  • Partner with team leads to properly vet, scope, and kickoff assignments.
  • Own and drive all due dates and milestones for projects.
  • Develop and own accurate project documentation, including timelines and scoping documents.
  • Anticipate problems and proactively solve them with minimal supervision.
  • Drive process improvements by actively contributing to conversations and workshops, and proactively suggesting more efficient ways of working.
  • Show a vested interest in the development of the team and improving ways of working.
  • Foster camaraderie, inclusivity, and teamwork through natural collaboration and by reaching across departments.
