Senior Project Engineer (Water Treatment/Potable Water)
About The Position
MSA is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to provide planning, design, and construction-related services for drinking water systems. The role addresses needs ranging from routine water supply to complex treatment and distribution challenges, with solutions for site-specific and community-wide water management. Candidates may be located within a commutable distance of an MSA office in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, or Illinois. The position is salaried, full-time, hybrid eligible, and flex-time eligible. MSA is a 100% employee-owned multidisciplinary firm with roots dating to 1919 and nearly 550 employees. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering.
- At least 8 years of prior experience with relevant project types.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Authorization to work in the United States for any employer; sponsorship is not provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide potable water planning, feasibility studies, and compliance reporting.
- Develop drawings using AutoCAD and/or BIM software platforms.
- Develop technical specifications.
- Prepare regulatory and technical permits.
- Administer and observe construction of potable water-related projects.
- Scope and budget projects.
- Interact with clients, vendors, manufacturers, and the public.
