About The Position

Climate Power is a strategic communications organization focused on winning the politics of climate. We’re educating Americans about our climate progress, highlighting how clean energy investments benefit local communities, and holding Big Oil accountable for polluting our air and water. We use data-backed messages to pave a path for bold action and shine a light on the price of ignoring the climate crisis would cost our health, economy, and future generations. It’s our job to tell the story of how climate action and clean energy investment are rebuilding our economy, lowering energy costs, and protecting our planet for future generations. We call out disinformation from bad actors like the Big Oil lobby, and make the climate stakes real for voters.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with climate change issues and environmental advocacy.
Experience in strategic communications or public affairs.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a remote-first environment.
Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools.
Experience with event planning and logistics.

Responsibilities

Manage project timelines and deliverables.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Assist in the development and execution of communication strategies.
Track project progress and report on key metrics.
Support the organization of events and meetings.

Maintain project documentation and databases.
