About The Position

This is a fully remote role supporting our BioAnalytical Laboratory in Richmond, VA. We welcome applicants from all locations within the US. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening. A Day in the Life: Join our collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Project Manager I, where you'll lead initiatives that help make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. In this role, you'll manage cross-functional projects while ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency. You'll coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within scope, from clinical trials and pharmaceutical services to technical documentation and quality management. This position offers an opportunity to develop your project management skills while contributing to meaningful scientific advances and healthcare solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and process management capabilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in English required
• Experience with project management software and tools
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
• Regular and consistent attendance.

Nice To Haves

• No prior experience required in project management or coordination
• Preferred Fields of Study: Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
• Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years’) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.
• Additional certifications in Project Management are valued but not required
• Experience with quality systems and GMP compliance preferred
• Additional languages may be needed based on location
• Understanding of relevant industry regulations and standards
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or scientific industries preferred
• In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
