About The Position

ReNuke Services is seeking a Senior Project Controls Cost Analyst for a client site in Lake Mary, Florida. This cost-control-focused role supports a portfolio of projects budgeted to spend tens of millions of dollars during the fiscal year. The analyst will work with a small team of Project Managers, Project Controls Analysts, and Schedulers, and may be assigned to multiple 'White' and possibly 'Green' projects under the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix.

The position involves cost analysis, forecasting, change control, and reporting. The analyst compares monthly actuals with project baselines, identifies variances, monitors baseline plans and fiscal budgets, and generates periodic project controls analytics. The role also includes verifying and validating collected data to support project controls metrics, then distributing and archiving the resulting analyses. A strong understanding of budgets and cost concepts—including direct and indirect labor charges, accruals, overheads, amortization, and allocations—is important. Project scheduling is not required.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of budgets, direct and indirect labor charges, accruals, overheads, amortization, and allocations.
• Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
• Proven ability to integrate large amounts of data from multiple databases or systems.
