About The Position

This role is generally responsible for developing bid packages, submitting Request for Quote (RFQ), evaluating commercial proposals, and awarding purchase orders. Responsibilities could also include expediting of vendor data and equipment in support of various projects. This work will be performed under general supervision. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with the execution of heavy industrial projects including chemical, refining, pulp and paper, power, and manufacturing, and be able to interpret project scopes, statements of work, and project requirements. Developing procurement plans for the acquisition of goods and services in support of various projects and mentoring less experienced Procurement Teammates are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial experience in Supply Chain Management specifically in Project Procurement
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Knowledge and application of company policies
Ability to organize effectively and execute
Complete understanding of contract language and commercial terms and conditions
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time
Authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

Bachelor or Master of Science degree in related field from an accredited university is preferred
