About The Position

The Project Analyst will provide critical analytical, operational, and program‑support functions for the SAOC program within Mission Systems. This role will serve as the central focal point for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, modeling, and communicating program data. The analyst will develop metrics, dashboards, and tools that enable leadership insight into staffing, execution health, resource planning, risk, and operational performance.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance.
  • Proven analytical experience supporting engineering, technical programs, or program controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, or interpret Integrated Master Schedules
  • Strong Excel and Power BI expertise, including model building and dashboard development.
  • Experience with Earned Value (EV) or Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to interpret large datasets and communicate insights clearly.
  • Advanced experience using JIRA, ALM, JAMA, SVN, or similar engineering tools.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and continuously update the Control Tower to ensure accurate and timely reporting of key program metrics.
  • Design, build, and manage Excel models and Power BI dashboards to track and visualize program performance, staffing, and other critical business metrics.
  • Analyze staffing demand and supply to support effective workforce planning and informed decision‑making.
  • Coordinate and consolidate data requests across multiple functions to enable “one‑time collection, multi‑use” efficiency and reduce redundancy.
  • Develop, maintain, and update organizational charts, distribution lists, and process templates to streamline team operations and communication.
  • Oversee and enhance onboarding effectiveness, including system setup, role integration, and new‑hire check‑ins.
  • Establish and organize centralized data repositories to improve accessibility, knowledge management, and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Provide ongoing dashboards, visualizations, and reporting to clearly communicate engineering and business trends to leadership.
  • Support program tasks, initiatives, and operational needs as directed by engineering leadership.
  • Track and manage all Engineering Coordination Memos (ECMs), including monitoring progress and closure plans.
  • Support and model Current Execution Index (CEI) tracking and analysis.
  • Lead and coordinate program‑level Risk and Opportunity (R&O) identification, tracking, and reporting.
  • Collaborate on CFx processes involving customer‑furnished equipment, data, or materials.
  • Develop programmatic approaches to improve communication flow and address identified communication issues.
  • Conduct analysis and modeling of site‑specific space needs, utilization, and timeline forecasts.
  • Ability to travel ~10%
