Qualified Health PBC
•$170,000 - $200,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Qualified Health is hiring a Senior Program Manager for its growing Life Sciences business, which delivers programs for pharmaceutical organizations and their brand teams. The role is accountable to customers for delivery against commitments, coordinating work across pharma customers, clinical, product, data, engineering, AI transformation, health system IT, and care pathway workflows. Programs may span multiple health systems. The position is hands-on, serving as the single source of truth for customers and leadership on contractual scope, plans, progress, risks, issues, and support needed. The successful candidate will communicate delivery status candidly, identify problems early, and reset plans and customer expectations when delivery deviates. The role will also help establish the Life Sciences PMO—including its operating rhythm, templates, and reporting—and may grow into hiring and leading a team as the business expands.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to run complex, multi-stakeholder programs end to end at a senior level, with hands-on ownership of scope, plans, risks, and status.
  • Experience in an external customer-facing role, including executive-level updates and steering committee-style check-ins.
  • Track record of working across clinical, product, data, and engineering teams to deliver commitments.
  • Strong skills in scoping work, building delivery plans, and managing issues, risks, and dependencies.
  • Active, practical use of AI tools in current work, with examples of application.
  • Proactive, clear communication with executives and customers, including comfort raising difficult truths early.
  • High sense of urgency, comfort with ambiguity, and an owner's mindset.
  • Proficiency with project and task management tools such as Notion, Jira, or similar; no single tool is required.
  • An undergraduate degree.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage contractual scope for Life Sciences programs and keep delivery aligned with customer commitments as work evolves.
  • Build and track delivery plans across customer, clinical, product, data, engineering, AI transformation, and health system IT teams; course-correct early when work deviates from plan.
  • Proactively surface risks and blockers, explain what is impeding progress, and involve the appropriate leader at the right time.
  • Reset delivery plans and customer conversations when work drifts from plan.
  • Provide leadership and customers with a single view of progress, including status, risks, issues, and support needed; use AI tools to produce updates efficiently.
  • Own external customer communications, including recurring check-ins every 3 to 4 months with pharmaceutical stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with teams leading health system delivery to maintain one accountable view from commitment through deployment.
  • Help build the Life Sciences PMO, including its operating rhythm, templates, and reporting, and lead the function as it grows.
  • As the business grows, hire and lead a team.
