About The Position

The Senior Principal Program Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for owning and delivering Fluence’s most strategically significant, enterprise-critical programs. These programs directly impact company strategy, customer commitments, platform evolution, margin performance, and time-to-market. This role goes beyond execution of a single program. It provides enterprise leadership across multiple interconnected initiatives, influences product and platform strategy, and serves as a trusted partner to executive leadership in navigating complex tradeoffs across scope, cost, schedule, risk, and long-term business objectives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in program or portfolio leadership
  • Proven track record leading enterprise‑critical programs
  • Strong business and technical acumen, with the ability to bridge strategic and technical perspectives
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline preferred
  • Master’s degree strongly preferred
  • You’ll need to be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout your employment, without the need for employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategically significant, high-visibility programs that materially impact Fluence’s growth strategy, product roadmap, customer commitments, and financial performance.
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for enterprise-level outcomes across complex, multi-year, multi-region programs.
  • Translate company strategy into executable program roadmaps.
  • Own end-to-end delivery from early concept through production launch and lifecycle execution.
  • Drive portfolio-level decision-making and manage cross-program dependencies.
  • Establish and lead integrated program governance and executive reviews.
  • Lead highly matrixed teams without direct authority.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior and executive leadership.
  • Represent Fluence with credibility to customers and partners.
  • Drive disciplined execution across cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate enterprise-level risks.
  • Ensure total system and platform integration readiness.
  • Establish best practices and elevate program management maturity.
  • Mentor and develop future program leaders.
