The Senior Program Coordinator, Auxiliary, Office of Housing is responsible for the operation of the furniture warehouse, including the delivery of furniture and appliances to university residences. This role also manages vending services, such as the distribution of MicroFridges and Safes, and oversees a team of 6-10 students who handle furniture deliveries to approximately 200 student residences. The position involves managing the maintenance, parking, and cleanliness of two box trucks, determining the status of furniture and appliances for disposal, donation, or reuse, and receiving and verifying deliveries from vendors. Additionally, the role requires maintaining inventory records, conducting physical inventories, coordinating barcoding, processing furniture requests, and supporting operations during peak periods like move-in/out and summer projects. The coordinator also assists the Assistant Director with summer residence hall projects, oversees damage billing, inspects empty rooms at the end of semesters, and manages all vending services operations, including laundry facilities and the UPS storage program. This includes managing the vending service account, handling communications (emails, calls, website), and managing the budget.
