About The Position

OceanMD, a WELL Health Company, is a leading provider of EMR-integrated Patient Engagement and eReferral tools in Canada. They play a critical role in millions of patient visits and thousands of referrals weekly, aiming to improve healthcare delivery through digital solutions. These solutions empower patients and physicians by replacing paper forms with digital tools for secure connection, health information sharing, and record updates. The company's tools enhance patient care by enabling pre-visit information sharing, improve patient experience with online booking and secure messaging, and increase access to care by reducing reliance on faxes and streamlining referral processes. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Government Program Services. The Senior Program Account Manager, Provincial Contracts will own a strategic provincial account and support platform rollout within a complex healthcare ecosystem. This is a multi-million-dollar program involving senior stakeholders, competing priorities, and a fast-paced environment, primarily focused on a major Ontario-based program. The role requires building relationships, exceeding expectations, aligning internal teams (Product, Integrations, Support, Education), and managing senior stakeholders by maintaining clarity, managing expectations, and ensuring momentum. Daily tasks include leading and chairing meetings, capturing decisions, tracking actions, and ensuring follow-through across a broad network of contributors.

Requirements

  • Significant experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives, ideally within digital health or healthcare environments.
  • Experience managing competing priorities while maintaining delivery discipline.
  • Experience with healthcare systems, such as EMRs, HIS platforms, or related technologies.
  • Understanding of the broader digital health landscape and its complexity.
  • Comfort working alongside technical and product teams and engaging in discussions around integrations, workflows, and solution delivery.
  • Experience with and motivation to explore AI tools in work.
  • Comfort operating in demanding client environments.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and navigate challenges with maturity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Lead provincial program execution, coordinating the delivery of complex healthcare technology initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment across stakeholders, clarity on priorities, and progress against contractual commitments.
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously, adapting to evolving client needs while ensuring consistent forward progress.
  • Own the operational rhythm of the account by leading internal and external meetings with senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure discussions are structured, decisions are captured, and clear actions and ownership are established.
  • Produce clear meeting summaries, track action items, clarify ownership, and ensure nothing is lost across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Apply strong project management discipline to coordinate a wide-ranging program with multiple concurrent deliverables, ensuring timelines, dependencies, and priorities are actively managed and aligned.
  • Build and nurture collaborative relationships by establishing trust, navigating complex stakeholder dynamics, managing expectations, and maintaining strong working relationships at all levels.
  • Bring together internal teams (Product, Integrations, etc.) to ensure alignment and support delivery.
  • Proactively identify risks, read signals in stakeholder interactions, and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Balance responsiveness with sound judgment in a high-visibility, high-impact account.
