Senior Production Coordinator, Wholesale Apparel

The Senior Production Coordinator independently manages day-to-day production execution across assigned brands, categories or businesses. This role is responsible for identifying production risks, resolving routine issues, coordinating across factories and internal teams, and escalating significant financial, vendor or delivery concerns to Production leadership.
Requirements
- 4–6+ years apparel production experience
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage production follow-up across multiple styles and seasons
- Strong understanding of fabric consumption, yields, POs, WIP, samples and delivery management
- Direct factory and/or agent communication experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify production risk and determine appropriate escalation
- Strong Excel skills
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- SAP, RLM, PLM or comparable systems experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage daily communication with factories, agents and internal departments
- Partner with Material Master, Textiles, Technical Design and Trim to ensure production information is complete
- Review styles, units, colors and production requirements following market
- Coordinate chases, drops and revised unit requirements
- Monitor fabric requirements, yields, booked units and availability
- Maintain fabric-liability reporting by season, range and value
- Adjust production units based on booked business, confirmed yields and available fabric in partnership with leadership
- Monitor delivery commitments and proactively identify production risks
- Resolve routine production and delivery issues independently
- Escalate significant financial, vendor, quality or delivery issues to Production leadership
- Create, issue and revise unit distributions and purchase orders
- Maintain accurate production information in SAP and applicable systems
- Lead routine production status follow-up for assigned business
- Conduct shipping and status meetings as appropriate
- Monitor PPS, fit and pre-production sample status
- Review WIP and ASN reporting and identify potential concerns
- Coordinate advertising and e-commerce sample requests
- Partner cross-functionally to keep production on schedule
