About The Position

The Senior Product Specialist will be responsible for and manage multiple high-profile products and projects for the Citi Wealth Investment Advisory business, within Investment Solutions, reporting to the global head of Citi Wealth Investment Advisory Programs. Candidate should have an in-depth understanding of how the fee-based Investment Advisory business operates across the industry, with a focus on Unified Managed Accounts (UMA), to contribute to the commercial success and objectives of the business. Excellent attention to detail, time management and communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level, and the ability to work both independently as well as part of a group. Responsible for executing functional strategy, accountable for end results, planning, policy formulation and contribution to future strategy of the business.

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience
  • Accomplished change leader, can execute flawlessly in ambiguous and changing environments and demonstrates both a flexible and resilient approach
  • Must possess vision and passion for the transformation of the Citi Wealth Investment Advisory Programs with a specific focus on UMA, the tools that are required by Financial Advisors, Investment Counselors and Bankers, as well as the ability to communicate with them
  • Significant relevant experience managing and delivering high profile projects
  • Knowledge and experience in working with Turnkey Asset Management Platforms (TAMPs)
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders and organizations – pushes self and colleagues to higher levels of performance by actively listening and engaging in constructive dialogue
  • Treats people with respect and assumes the intentions of others are based on common purpose and shared goals
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and drive large scale, complex business initiatives –taking initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with process-oriented execution, with a high attention to detail and quality on both internal teamwork and external solutions providers
  • Strategic, analytical, and systematic thinker who consistently pushes the status quo and constructively challenges the team to drive change and continuous improvement and innovation
  • Required current US FINRA Registration: Series 7. Must meet ALL US FINRA Registration requirements within 150 days of starting in the role.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring end-to-end success of strategic deliverables, including but not limited to Program uplift, new product offerings, new technology solutions, requiring focus and success on end-to-end implementation from operating model design and requirements gathering to system testing, internal and external communications, and training.
  • Owning and executing the account migration from our current legacy investment advisory programs to the new Global UMA.
  • Owning the Digital & AI integration and client experience as the company integrates and implements its Investment Advisory Programs strategic direction to UMA.
  • Partnering closely with internal stakeholders, including but not limited to legal, compliance, risk, supervision, product development and technology, as well as across the wider Investment Solutions team.
