Senior Product Owner
About The Position
CTG is seeking to fill a Senior Product Owner opening for our client. This is a remote, 10-month contract position. The role involves owning the product backlog, requirements, user stories, and delivery priorities for an Employee Knowledge Management (EKM) solution. This solution will be built and configured using SharePoint Online, Power BI, and Power Platform or Appian. Key responsibilities include developing governed content catalogs, metadata, publishing workflows, approvals, and lifecycle automation. The Senior Product Owner will partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate needs into scalable solutions, create Power BI dashboards for performance tracking, and lead testing, release management, documentation, and troubleshooting. The role also involves applying AI-assisted tools to enhance content management and automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience.
- Advanced SharePoint Online configuration experience, including metadata, content types, search, and permissions.
- Experience with Power Platform, Appian, or comparable low-code workflow technologies.
- Experience with product ownership, requirements gathering, Agile delivery, testing, and release management.
- Knowledge of content governance, taxonomy, information architecture, and lifecycle management.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Power BI, and regulated environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

- Background in financial services, compliance, or document-intensive environments.
- Familiarity with Agile, Lean, and continuous improvement methodologies.
