Flywire•Boston, MA
•$116,848 - $166,926

About The Position

Flywire is seeking a senior individual contributor to own product marketing for its Travel vertical, covering Hospitality (including hotels and boutique accommodations) and Experiential (including travel operators and DMCs). The role supports Flywire’s Travel software and payments platform, including Sertifi by Flywire’s offerings across digital contracts, deposits, and group event payments. Reporting to the VP, Product Marketing, this role sits between Product and Go to Market. The role owner will set the product marketing plan, shape positioning and go-to-market strategy, enable teams to sell, and connect product strategy, customer insight, and commercial execution. Success is reflected in pipeline quality, conversion, and revenue. The role also brings market and field feedback into messaging, product direction, targeting, and pricing decisions. The position calls for a senior marketer who can translate complex software and payments capabilities into clear, differentiated value, build strong customer and market understanding, and influence teams across Product, Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Pricing, Commercial, and RevOps. It also includes using AI to improve the speed and quality of marketing work and developing repeatable workflows for the wider team.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of B2B product marketing experience across SaaS, payments, fintech, or similar environments.
  • Experience as the senior product marketer for a product line, platform, or vertical, setting direction rather than executing a plan handed to you.
  • Proven track record owning positioning, go-to-market launches, and enablement with clear ties to pipeline, conversion, and revenue.
  • Strong commercial and product instincts, with an understanding of B2B buying cycles and enterprise sales motions.
  • Ability to translate complex products into simple, compelling value propositions that resonate with buyers.
  • Ability to partner with Product, Sales, and senior commercial stakeholders and influence without authority.
  • Hands-on experience using AI in day-to-day marketing workflows to improve speed, quality, and scale.
  • Curiosity and willingness to continuously evolve how work gets done and experiment with new approaches.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence across teams.
  • Highly organized, with ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Bias toward action with a focus on execution and outcomes.
  • Experience in travel, hospitality, or hotel technology, or marketing to travel operations and finance buyers.
  • Experience in payments, fintech, or vertical SaaS platforms.
  • Experience marketing a multi-product portfolio or bringing an acquired product into a wider platform story.
  • Experience directly tying product marketing efforts to pipeline and revenue outcomes.
  • Experience mentoring or raising the bar for other product marketers.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure positioning and messaging consistency across Product, Marketing, and Sales.
  • Own go-to-market strategy for launches, releases, and commercial initiatives across both Travel lines of business, including priorities and trade-offs.
  • Partner with Product to turn the roadmap into market-ready messaging and materials.
  • Coordinate execution across Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships.
  • Partner with Pricing and Commercial teams to align packaging and positioning with client value.
  • Refine go-to-market approaches based on performance and feedback.
  • Build and maintain enablement materials, including decks, battlecards, demos, and value narratives.
  • Equip Sales and Relationship Management teams to position and sell effectively across both lines of business.
  • Partner with Sales and RevOps to improve win rates, deal quality, and conversion.
  • Lead value articulation in competitive and high-value deals, including ROI cases for operations and finance buyers.
  • Serve as Flywire’s market expert for travel and hospitality and advise Product on what the market will pay for.
  • Synthesize customer feedback, win-loss insights, and field input into actionable direction.
  • Develop understanding of travel and hospitality buyers, market dynamics, and competition, including gateways, point solutions, and incumbent PMS and CRM workflows.
  • Feed market insights into positioning, targeting, pricing, and product decisions.
