About The Position

Ditto is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to shape how the company communicates its products and platform. The role will develop narratives for individual products and a unified platform story explaining the value of edge-native architecture. These narratives will support product launches and address consumer, commercial, and public-sector audiences. The Senior Product Marketing Manager reports to the Head of Marketing and collaborates with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Partnerships. The role’s work will appear in sales presentations, documentation, RFP responses, and customer conversations.

Requirements

  • Ability to write for technical audiences, sales teams, and the broader market.
  • Ability to engage with engineers on architecture, APIs, SDKs, networking, and distributed systems.
  • Ability to conduct and use primary research, including customer interviews, win/loss calls, and recorded sales conversations, to form evidence-based positions.
  • Ability to lead launches across Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Partnerships without directly managing those teams.
  • Proficiency with current AI tools and models, using them for automation, ideation, asset creation, and decision-making, while exercising judgment about their limitations.

Nice To Haves

  • Developer marketing experience, including documentation, SDK onboarding, and developer community channels.
  • Background in infrastructure, data platforms, mobile technology, edge computing, or IoT, or a demonstrated ability to learn a technically complex category quickly.
  • Experience defining a category before buyers have framed the problem in the desired way.
  • Design range across product and marketing, including creating product pages and sales presentations.
  • Public-sector or defense experience, including program offices, primes, FedRAMP or ATO processes, and related procurement cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Own the narrative for Ditto’s Edge Sync Platform, communicating the value of edge-native architecture to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Develop evidence-based positioning and messaging frameworks for Ditto Edge SDK, Ditto Cloud, Ditto Server, Ditto Propagate, and Ditto Apps, using customer research and win/loss evidence.
  • Run go-to-market activities end to end for each launch, including launch tiering, positioning, input on pricing and packaging, asset creation, internal enablement, and a defined 90-day measurement of results.
  • Adapt the platform narrative for B2C, B2B, and B2G audiences, including audience-specific proof points, objections, and procurement considerations.
  • Equip Sales and Solutions Engineering with pitch narratives, battlecards, demo storylines, and objection handling, and track use of these assets in actual deals.
  • Monitor competitors, alternatives, and adjacent technologies, and incorporate findings into positioning and roadmap discussions.

  • In the US: health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • In the US: 401(k) and flexible spending accounts.
  • Flexible time off for all employees.
