About The Position

This role is the end-to-end product marketing owner for Handshake AI's frontier lab business. The position acts as the connective tissue between research, product, sales, and the market. The responsibilities include translating deep technical work into positioning that resonates with researchers and lab leadership, and equipping the sales team with the necessary tools to close and grow relationships. This is a foundational role where the individual will establish the Go-to-Market (GTM) playbook for a rapidly growing business within the AI sector. The role involves building positioning, messaging, and competitive strategy, partnering with the research team to create market-ready content, serving as the primary point of contact for sales on value propositions and pricing, developing sales enablement materials, shaping long-term product and GTM strategy, and translating positioning into compelling event and field marketing experiences.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, or a related B2B marketing discipline.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and prioritizing effectively without a perfect brief.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including executives.
  • Strong project management skills with experience coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder launches.
  • Experience building sales enablement materials, including competitive positioning and technical demo content.
  • A track record of building programs from scratch (0-to-1), demonstrating comfort with wearing multiple hats and scaling based on data.

Responsibilities

  • Build end-to-end positioning, messaging, and competitive strategy for Handshake AI's frontier lab business, ensuring alignment with Handshake's broader career-network story.
  • Partner with the HAI research team to transform technical research outputs into market-ready content, enhancing Handshake AI's credibility within the research community.
  • Act as the primary Product Marketing Manager (PMM) point of contact and decision-maker for lab-facing conversations, including value propositions, proof points, pricing/packaging narratives, and objection handling.
  • Develop and maintain sales enablement materials such as playbooks, talk tracks, competitive one-pagers, and pitch assets, iterating based on feedback from the Sales team.
  • Collaborate with HAI Product and Sales leadership to influence long-term product and GTM strategy by synthesizing customer, competitive, and market insights into executive recommendations.
  • Codify frameworks, launch templates, and messaging systems for broader team reuse.
  • Partner with event marketing to translate HAI positioning into engaging in-person and virtual experiences, owning messaging for executive dinners, field events, and conference activations.
