About The Position

Your Career As a Senior Product Marketing Manager focused on AI Security, you will define how the market understands and adopts security for the next generation of AI systems. AI is no longer just generating content, it is making decisions and taking action. As enterprises move from AI assistance to AI autonomy, the risk shifts from what AI says to what AI does. Your role will be instrumental in shaping how organizations secure this transition. You will drive messaging and marketing strategy across critical layers of AI systems, including models, artifacts, access and control layers, and agentic execution helping customers safely deploy AI at scale. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, PR, social, and field marketing, across multiple business units to craft and execute narratives that resonate with both technical practitioners and business leaders. You will bring a systems-level understanding of AI technologies, the cybersecurity landscape, and real-world enterprise challenges – transforming complex architectures into clear, differentiated, and high-impact stories that drive adoption and market leadership.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience in Product Marketing or Technical Product Marketing.
  • Deep domain knowledge with a proven track record in at least one of the following: Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, or Developer Programs.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical systems into clear, differentiated, and value-driven narratives for both technical and business audiences.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving high-impact product launches and market adoption in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to connect product capabilities to broader workflows, architectures, and customer outcomes.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage executive leadership, technical teams, and customers.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, operating effectively from concept through delivery.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Advanced degrees or certifications in AI, cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • Deep understanding of modern AI systems and architectures, including how models, agents, tools, and data interact, and where risk emerges across that lifecycle.
  • Exceptional ability to lead and execute across complex, cross-functional environments, aligning diverse stakeholders to deliver cohesive outcomes.
  • Experience shaping or contributing to category-level narratives or market positioning, not just product-level messaging.

  • Shape an Emerging Category – Help establish the category for securing autonomous and agentic AI systems. Identify gaps in industry thinking and introduce new frameworks that influence customers, analysts, and internal teams.
  • Drive High-Visibility Launches – Own and orchestrate high-profile launches that unify multiple capabilities into a cohesive story. Create moments that move the market—not just announce features.
  • Translate Complexity into Clarity – Turn complex AI system architectures into simple, compelling narratives that resonate across audiences, from CxOs to hands-on practitioners, without losing technical depth.
  • Lead Integrated Marketing Strategies – Define and execute marketing strategies for launches and campaigns, aligning cross-functional teams to drive adoption, pipeline, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Operationalize Vision into Execution – Partner deeply with product, sales, and field teams to translate strategy into scalable assets, enablement, and real-world impact.
  • Act as a Trusted Voice in the Market – Represent Palo Alto Networks with customers, partners, analysts, and industry influencers through events, thought leadership, and executive engagements—reinforcing leadership in AI security.
