Senior Product Manager - Browser and Mobile Applications

DelineaRedwood City, CA
$130,000 - $162,000Remote

About The Position

Delinea is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the browser and mobile access experiences of the Delinea Platform, spanning workforce password management (WPM) and the privileged access workflows that sit alongside it. This portfolio is where users meet the Delinea Platform most frequently: in the browser, where credentials are captured and injected and where access to business resources is initiated, and on the phone, where users authenticate, retrieve credentials, and review and approve access requests away from their desks. You will own two closely related surfaces and are expected to bring coherence across them: Browser. The browser extension is the primary daily-use touchpoint for the broader workforce. You will own the Delinea browser extension (DCM), which delivers standard password manager capabilities — credential capture, autofill, secure generation, sharing, and vault access — alongside privileged workflows. This includes cross-browser support and the distinct release, review, and distribution constraints of browser extension stores; the security model of an extension operating in the page context; and the balance between frictionless autofill and rigorous policy enforcement. You will also own browser-based access to business web and SaaS applications, including applications that do not support federation, with policy enforcement, monitoring, and auditability applied to those sessions. Mobile. You will own the mobile applications through which users and administrators interact with the platform, including mobile password and credential management, the Delinea authenticator experience supporting multifactor and push-based approval, and mobile platform administration for reviewing, approving, and acting on access requests, alerts, and approvals from an iOS or Android device. Mobile is not a reduced version of the web experience; you will define which workflows genuinely belong on a phone and how to deliver them with the biometric, secure-enclave, push, and offline capabilities the platform affords. The access paths in this portfolio are the points at which policy is applied, credentials are brokered, and activity is recorded. As the population of identities requesting access to enterprise resources continues to broaden, you will help determine how these capabilities adapt. This is a high-ownership role in a globally distributed organization. You will operate across Engineering, UX, Architecture, Product Marketing, Support, and Customer Success, and you will engage directly with administrators, security architects, and end users to validate direction. This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; Master's or MBA a plus.
  • 6+ years of product management experience in an Agile/Scrum environment, including end-to-end ownership of an enterprise product line.
  • 5+ years in software, SaaS, or cloud security, with direct exposure to password management, authentication, privileged access management, or client-side access technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience shipping and operating browser extensions, mobile applications, or both at enterprise scale, including familiarity with the release, review, distribution, and versioning constraints of extension and app stores.
  • Working knowledge of browser security fundamentals relevant to extension development: content scripts and page-context isolation, extension permission models and manifest versioning, same-origin policy, and secure credential handling in the browser.
  • Working knowledge of mobile platform capabilities relevant to identity: biometric authentication, secure enclave and keystore, push notification services, mobile device and application management, and platform privacy requirements.
  • Familiarity with identity and authentication standards: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, SCIM, FIDO2/WebAuthn, TOTP, and mTLS.
  • Understanding of browser-delivered application access, including federated and non-federated login flows, credential injection, and the monitoring and audit of application sessions.
  • Familiarity with machine and non-human identity concepts — secrets management, service accounts, workload identity, and short-lived credentials — is a plus.
  • Deep familiarity with enterprise endpoint and IT environments: Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android; Active Directory and Entra ID; endpoint and mobile management tooling.
  • Working knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-native, microservices-based architectures.
  • Proven track record of taking enterprise products from concept to general availability and growing them into meaningful revenue, translating technical capability into compelling offerings and user experiences.
  • Strong user-experience instinct. These are high-frequency, daily-use tools; friction in the access path has a direct and measurable cost.
  • Analytical mindset capable of balancing customer needs, competitive positioning, and business growth opportunities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership, analysts, and enterprise customers — fluent in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as Pragmatic Marketing or Scrum Product Owner are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Own and articulate a multi-year product vision and strategy for Delinea's browser and mobile access experiences across workforce password management and adjacent privileged access use cases, aligned to company objectives and market opportunity.
  • Translate that strategy into a prioritized roadmap and backlog spanning the DCM browser extension, browser-based application access, and the mobile credential management, authenticator, and platform administration applications — making explicit trade-off decisions with agile development teams.
  • Drive the browser extension roadmap end to end, including cross-browser parity, extension store submission and review cycles, permission and manifest changes, update and rollback strategy, and the credential capture and autofill experience.
  • Define the mobile product strategy across iOS and Android, including authenticator flows, biometric and secure-element usage, push-based approval workflows, offline behavior, and app store release management, and determine where and when stronger authentication factors should be introduced.
  • Ensure a coherent access experience across surfaces: consistent policy enforcement, credential injection, session handling, and audit behavior whether access originates in a browser, an extension, or a mobile device, in coordination with the owners of adjacent access clients.
  • Establish a durable point of view on the market by engaging directly with customers, partners, analysts, and internal stakeholders; validate requirements through structured discovery rather than anecdote.
  • Partner with Engineering, UX, QA, and Support to deliver high-quality, performant experiences across supported browsers and mobile operating systems.
  • Balance sustaining investment in established capabilities against the platform migration path and new zero-to-one work; build the business case for where to invest.
  • Anticipate how access patterns and enforcement requirements evolve over the roadmap horizon, and sequence investment so the portfolio remains extensible as those requirements change.
  • Define adoption, engagement, and success metrics for each surface, and use them to inform prioritization and demonstrate business value.
  • Shape go-to-market strategy with Product Marketing, driving positioning, messaging, packaging, and pricing across the workforce password management and privileged access buying centers, which frequently differ.
  • Enable Sales, Support, and Customer Success with the context, collateral, and training needed for launches and ongoing customer success.
  • Stay current on browser security, credential and secrets management, application access, and passwordless and FIDO2 authentication trends to inform roadmap evolution.
