About The Position

As Senior Product Manager for CoreUX, you will help advance EarnIn’s mission to reinvent the financial system and improve financial flexibility for people living paycheck to paycheck. You will shape the experience members have across the app, from the home screen to the design system and underlying platform performance. You will help transition CoreUX from supporting other product lines to owning EarnIn’s end-to-end app experience. This includes setting product strategy, discovering user insights, and driving execution across the home screen, navigation, discovery, design system, and platform work. You will lead a cross-functional team and use research, data, experimentation, and AI tools to improve the member experience and deliver product outcomes. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Mountain View, California, requiring in-office work two days per week. The base salary range is $229,000–$280,000, plus equity and benefits.

Requirements

At least 4 years of product management experience on consumer products used by individuals, rather than businesses, administrators, or internal teams.
Strong product and design judgment developed through shipping delightful and innovative products; values consistency and craft as well as growth metrics.
Experience making UX decisions involving trade-offs and clearly communicating their costs.
Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive product decisions and improve key metrics.
Ability to engage in technical discussions and make informed product decisions based on technical constraints, especially platform performance and design system architecture.
Deep user empathy and experience building products based on user needs.
Ability to establish a rapid experimentation culture that accelerates learning and iteration.
Experience resolving competing priorities across product teams and reaching workable solutions.
Ability to influence decisions outside one’s direct authority by bringing evidence rather than escalating.
Fluency with AI tools in one’s workflow for research synthesis, specification writing, prototyping, and data analysis, and interest in building products that become smarter through AI.

Nice To Haves

Experience owning a home screen, navigation, feed, or promotional placement surface.
Experience with ML-driven personalization or ranking.
Fintech or regulated consumer product experience.
Experience with identity features such as signup, onboarding, KYC, or authentication.

Responsibilities

Own the home screen and core navigation experience, evolving it from a static, rule-based surface to an ML-orchestrated experience that presents members with relevant next steps.
Create feedback loops with community members and develop a deep understanding of product issues and their resolution across shared CoreUX surfaces.
Communicate the product vision, roadmap, and results for the app experience, design system, and platform work to the product team, stakeholders, and executive team.
Define OKRs and stretch goals for the product and team in support of company-wide goals, including wage access activation and design system adoption.
Partner with Design to raise the bar for design quality and user experience, and to enforce and evolve EarnIn’s design system across surfaces.
Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, researchers, and data analysts to build and scale the home screen, navigation, and discovery experiences.
Establish, monitor, and analyze metrics such as activation, design system adoption, trust rating, and platform performance.
Use user research, competitive analysis, and data to identify and prioritize opportunities in cross-surface governance and member experience.
Champion CoreUX’s shift to AI-native operations by building automated tooling and agents, and use AI tools to accelerate work from insight through specifications to shipped experiments.
Design, develop, and execute features and experiments, partnering with engineering on mobile and web platform delivery.
