About The Position

Presence is a remote-first provider of teletherapy solutions for children with diverse needs, connecting clinicians with K–12 school districts. The Senior Product Manager for Fulfillment & Operational Transformation owns the platform experiences, operational workflows, and systems that match district demand with clinical supply. The role addresses a complex two-sided marketplace shaped by student IEP timelines, district calendars and credentialing requirements, and clinicians’ availability, licensure, and skills. The position applies service and systems design to map current workflows, identify friction and dependencies, replace manual workarounds, and develop scalable matching and capacity tools. It translates operational challenges into automated, adoptable software while balancing algorithmic processes with human judgment. The role partners with Operations, Enablement, Engineering, Design, and other stakeholder groups to deliver improvements and track product outcomes against fulfillment metrics. Presence is remote-first. Employees are expected to be available on camera during Core Working Hours, Monday through Friday, 12–5 p.m. ET, and standard business hours are 9 a.m.–6 p.m. in the employee’s local time zone. Up to 10% travel may be required.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of product management experience, including ownership of complex systems, two-sided marketplaces, logistics or fulfillment engines, or enterprise workflow transformation at the Senior Product Manager level.
  • Strong discovery skills and empathy when interviewing non-technical operators; ability to diagnose root causes, data gaps, and operational friction across multi-user systems.
  • Strong UX skills and experience designing workflows for internal, non-technical users.
  • Experience leading major cross-functional initiatives and delivering complex, multi-stakeholder releases with accountability for impact.
  • Fluency in business metrics such as margin, capacity utilization, and fill rate, and ability to identify opportunities to improve business outcomes.
  • Expertise in service design and creating detailed blueprints of cross-functional processes, including user interactions, backstage actions, policies, and underlying systems.
  • Ability to make build-versus-buy decisions and experience designing products integrated with third-party enterprise systems and internal data pipelines.
  • Experience applying Jobs-to-be-Done frameworks to internal tools to reduce operational friction and cognitive load.
  • Experience designing human-in-the-loop workflows, including exception queues, triage dashboards, and task-management tools.
  • Track record of partnering on the rollout of internal tools or workflow overhauls, including training alignment, migration planning, and adoption tracking.
  • Understanding of operational efficiency KPIs such as throughput velocity, capacity utilization, and fill rates, and how product features affect them.
  • Proficiency with AI prototyping tools; build-first approach; ability to define AI strategy and responsible-use standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA.

Responsibilities

  • Create end-to-end service blueprints mapping district and clinician interactions, internal operational handoffs, technical systems, and third-party data flows; identify failure points and dependencies.
  • Discover and document operational practices and bottlenecks, then transition teams from manual workarounds to scalable, instrumented product features.
  • Define Jobs-to-be-Done and design intuitive end-to-end experiences for non-technical internal users that reduce cognitive load.
  • Design human-in-the-loop workflows that balance algorithmic automation with operator decision-support, visibility, and exception management.
  • Evaluate build-versus-buy options and lead technical strategy for integrating enterprise tools, backend systems, and data pipelines.
  • Own product definition and delivery for clinician-to-referral matching, caseload allocation, schedule optimization, and capacity management.
  • Identify AI opportunities, including generative AI, document parsing, and agentic workflows, while protecting data governance, FERPA, and clinical compliance.
  • Partner with Operations and Enablement on implementation and adoption, including telemetry and operational feedback loops to track utilization and user sentiment.
  • Deliver product outcomes that improve key fulfillment metrics.
  • Lead an agile engineering pod and collaborate across operations, clinical, marketing, support, and other stakeholder groups.
  • Partner strategically with the VP of Enterprise Operations & Transformation and work closely with the pod’s Engineering Manager and Design Lead.
