Senior Product Manager
About The Position
Via is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the Remix transit planning and scheduling platform, which helps agencies design networks, model scenarios, and optimize service. The role is responsible for the platform’s usability, scalability, flexibility, and foundational capabilities, while keeping Remix a powerful and intuitive tool for transit professionals worldwide. The Senior Product Manager will set the platform direction, champion AI-led insights, and maintain an end-to-end product view spanning planning, scheduling, live operations, and performance feedback. The role balances long-term platform strategy with hands-on feature prioritization and development, partnering with engineering, design, data science, and customers to improve the product and align it with real operational needs.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of product management experience, including ownership of platform or infrastructure-layer products used in complex enterprise workflows.
- Ability to articulate a multi-year platform vision and make well-reasoned feature-level prioritization decisions.
- Strong instincts for usability and product quality, with the ability to simplify workflows without disrupting what works.
- Understanding of AI and data products in practice, and experience integrating analytical insights into operational workflows in ways users trust and act on.
- Ability to become technically fluent in underlying data models and entities and contribute credibly to technical architecture decisions and tradeoffs.
- Track record of shipping high-quality features in complex, workflow-heavy enterprise environments where precision and reliability matter.
- Collaborative, direct communication and ability to build alignment across engineering, design, data science, and go-to-market partners.
- Ability to learn a technical domain quickly.

Responsibilities
- Own the Remix platform roadmap, including usability, scalability, flexibility, and shared capabilities across modules.
- Define and drive the vision for AI-led insights that help transit agencies make data-informed decisions about service design, network performance, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain an end-to-end product view across network planning, scheduling, live operations, and performance data, enabling a continuous feedback loop.
- Identify and prioritize vertical feature investments across Remix modules to make each module best in class.
- Partner with engineering and design to improve platform usability while preserving the depth power users need.
- Work with data science and engineering to determine how AI and analytics capabilities are presented, what insights matter, and how they drive action.
- Engage directly with customers to understand workflow pain points, validate priorities, and test the roadmap against operational needs.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technology to keep Remix at the forefront.
