About The Position

Roku is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead generative AI and creative products for its advertising business. The role owns a portfolio of AI-powered tools that help advertisers create, adapt, and enhance TV ad creative. Products include AI-generated video ads made from existing brand assets, generative enhancements for Roku ad formats, and tools that adapt creative assets across sizes and placements. The product manager will scale products already in market, identify new opportunities, and take promising concepts through launch. The work sits at the intersection of applied AI, creative workflows, and advertising products, with close collaboration across engineering, design, ad sales, operations, legal, and marketing. The position is part of Ad Product Strategy & Operations, a hybrid strategy and execution function that supports decision-making, launch readiness, and operationalization of product strategy across Roku’s advertising portfolio. The role is based in a generally hybrid work environment: teams typically work in the office Monday through Thursday, with Fridays generally flexible for remote work, subject to role and office-location requirements.

  • Experience scoping workflows that combine automation with human review, such as editorial, moderation, or approval flows.
  • Data-driven decision-making experience, including defining success metrics, setting up instrumentation, interpreting A/B test results, and acting on findings.
  • Strong communication and influence skills across engineering, design, sales, operations, and legal, including with distributed teams across time zones.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Identify and launch new AI creative products by conducting discovery with advertisers and agencies, prototyping with engineering, and making go/no-go decisions about full launches.
  • Define quality standards for AI-generated creative and work with design, review, and policy teams to build human-in-the-loop workflows and brand guardrails.
  • Make build-versus-reuse decisions across a shared generative AI platform so products can share models, services, and safety layers.
  • Partner with ad sales and marketing on go-to-market activities, including packaging, pricing, early-access programs, and positioning.
  • Work with legal on rights, intellectual property, and responsible AI considerations for generated creative.
  • Instrument funnel events, in-product feedback, creative quality, and campaign results, and use the data to guide product decisions.
