Senior Product Manager
About The Position
The Senior Product Manager manages the vision, roadmap, delivery, and outcomes for a portfolio of products supporting customer needs. The role translates customer requirements into portfolio roadmaps and executable product and project initiatives, and provides direction on the development, execution, and monitoring of roadmaps to ensure products deliver the capabilities customers need. The position supports the All of Us (AoU) Research Program, a national initiative funded by the National Institutes of Health to accelerate medical research through a diverse health database. The role also analyzes market trends in products and services, capabilities, and scalability. It is a full-time, exempt term position lasting six months to one year, works normal business hours Monday through Friday, and offers the opportunity to work remotely.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of relevant experience.
- Intermediate IT portfolio management capability.
- Intermediate product vendor management capability.
- Intermediate knowledge of emerging technologies.
- Intermediate project coordination capability.
- Intermediate product knowledge, including the ability to develop or support applications and educate or train others.
Responsibilities
- Lead vision, roadmap, delivery, and outcomes for a portfolio of products.
- Translate customer needs into product and project initiatives within a portfolio roadmap.
- Provide direction on the development, execution, and monitoring of product roadmaps and related initiatives.
- Analyze the market for trends in new products and services, capabilities, and scalability.
- Perform project tracking and reporting, manage changing scope and project acceptance procedures, measure progress, and help resolve issues through completion.
- Support product vendor management, including contract development, issue escalation and resolution, performance monitoring, and technical specifications.
