About The Position

As Senior Product Manager, Okta for AI Agents, you will drive product strategy and execution for securing AI agents. You will define and build capabilities that let organizations connect AI agents to enterprise tools with identity-driven governance. This includes agent identity lifecycle management, dynamic permission scoping, delegated authorization, and audit trails, as well as shaping the trust frameworks and APIs behind these workflows. Okta for AI Agents is a foundational product pillar and trust layer between automated workflows and customers’ enterprise security requirements. You will work with engineering, design, other product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop AI identity capabilities and support the rollout and management of agent access, oversight, and governance at scale.

Requirements

At least 5 years of technical product management experience in enterprise-scale SaaS products, or an equivalent background demonstrating core product management competencies.
Strong knowledge of IAM protocols such as OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML.
Deep understanding of API security and developer experience integrating security services.
Ability to act decisively with incomplete or ambiguous information in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with research, design, engineering, and customer success teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience that enables influence over technical design decisions.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks or building products that use LLMs.
Experience with developer-centric products, including SDKs, APIs, or no-code/low-code integration platforms.
Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and its application to non-human entities and automated workloads.
Experience launching products from initial concept to general availability in a Zero to One environment.
Advanced degree in a technical or business field.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with AI platform developers, security architects, and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, distill feature requests, and ensure product-market fit for AI agent identity.
Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for AI agent capabilities, including agent-to-agent authentication and delegated authority.
Identify and prioritize features such as dynamic session management for AI, on-behalf-of token exchange, and agent-specific audit logs.
Partner with engineering and architecture teams to define protocols, including OAuth/OIDC extensions, and deployment models aligned with modern AI orchestration frameworks.
Drive cross-functional execution with design, engineering, and documentation teams to deliver high-quality features on time.
Track trends in LLMs, agentic frameworks, and emerging AI security standards to develop differentiated solutions.
Use product data to improve agent lifecycle management and drive adoption within the developer community.
Serve as the AI Identity subject matter expert and enable marketing and technical sales teams to position Okta for AI use cases.
