About The Position

The Senior Product Manager for the Focus Payroll Card owns the end‑to‑end strategy, performance, and long‑term success of the product, with full accountability for profit and loss. This role sets product vision and drives portfolio growth through rigorous financial and performance management, customer insight, and disciplined execution across the product lifecycle. The Senior Product Manager partners closely with Finance to manage monthly performance analysis, identify trends, and deliver executive‑level reporting on profitability drivers, portfolio performance, and margin optimization opportunities. Using deep analysis of cardholder behavior, adoption, and usage trends—along with ongoing competitive and market research—this role identifies gaps, anticipates industry shifts, and informs product strategy, pricing, and investment decisions. The role builds strong business cases and financial models to support roadmap prioritization and ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls. As a product leader and subject matter expert, the Senior Product Manager works cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Technology, Experience Design, Operations, Fraud, Compliance, Legal, Implementations, and Finance to support new business development, client onboarding, and go‑to‑market execution. This includes responding to sales inquiries, RFPs, pricing requests, finalist presentations, and contract negotiations, as well as guiding new product and program launches from concept through delivery. Aligned with U.S. Bank’s human + digital product strategy, the Senior Product Manager defines product outcomes and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), translates strategy into actionable roadmaps, and partners with agile and technology teams to deliver capabilities that drive business and customer outcomes. The role balances investment and return, leads multi‑year strategic planning, and continuously improves the client and cardholder experience. With a strong growth mindset, this leader acts as an advocate for prepaid offerings across the enterprise, explores new distribution channels and markets, and ensures the Focus Payroll Card remains competitive, compliant, and positioned for sustainable, long‑term growth.
