About The Position

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, staffing, monitoring, controlling, facilitating, and taking ownership of the successful completion of Duck Creek delivery initiatives within Progressive. This role ensures on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of service management implementations and software development projects. The individual will also lead end-to-end project management for validating DCOD cloud/colocation migration versus on-premise data center environments.

Requirements

  • PMP
  • CSM
  • Insurance experience
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA, and leadership.
  • Ability to collaborate proactively to ensure shared understanding of goals, requirements, priorities, and timelines.
  • Experience facilitating discussions, workshops, and meetings to encourage alignment, transparency, and informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for Duck Creek delivery initiatives.
  • Proactively manage, monitor, and report the status of service management implementations and software development projects.
  • Coordinate, manage, and assure software quality, project timeliness, and budget adherence, including oversight of third-party software suppliers.
  • Document the scope of assigned projects and facilitate the development of detailed project plans or iteration plans.
  • Perform change, risk, and issue management, and manage communications with required stakeholders.
  • Create resource demand forecasts, perform schedule variance analysis, identify issues, and recommend alternate solutions.
  • Participate in resource performance management and assist in resource development.
  • Lead end-to-end project management for validating DCOD cloud/colocation migration versus on-premise data center environments.
