About The Position

Samsung Research America is seeking an experienced, highly motivated individual to join our Digital Health team as a product management leader. This role is core to developing, incubating, and launching innovative Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) products that will transform the future of Samsung Health. Our SaMD products cover various health areas such as cardiac, sleep, and hearing health. The Digital Health team is a multi-disciplinary agile team focused on designing and developing innovative digital health products, services, and solutions. The ultimate goal is to empower consumers, patients, clinicians, and developers to leverage smartphones, wearables, medical devices, and IoTs in the health and wellness domain. Requirements

MS/Ph.D in Biomedical engineering/EE/CS or similar, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
5+ years of product management experience.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in building regulated medical devices.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex problems into clear insights and requirements.
Ability to understand user data and synthesize user research into product requirements.
Demonstrated business agility and ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and frequently changing environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities.
Good knowledge of regulated medical device development, including quality management systems.

Responsibilities

Lead product management, including market opportunity and user need identification, product vision & strategy formation, roadmap, product definition & development, business case development, competitive positioning, and goal/KPI setting & monitoring.
Work on the next generation of SaMD products within Samsung Health to expand the exercise coaching feature.
Collaborate with the design team to translate complex problems into simple, elegant, and minimal solutions.
Prioritize feature development to create maximum possible impact based on available resources.
Drive product development in close collaboration with technical program managers and development leads, overseeing market and user research, design, development, validation, and deployment.
Own the product requirement document (PRD), user guide, and product performance reporting.
Serve as the single point of contact for key stakeholders, including executives, partners, business, strategy, engineering, design, QA, operations, and legal.
