About The Position

As a Senior Product Manager - Platform Services at PointClickCare, you contribute to the vision and strategy of foundational platform capabilities that power products across the company, define and own roadmaps, and drive execution and delivery of APIs and shared services that compose into compelling value for our users and customers, ensuring overall success across the entire product portfolio. Your direct customers are the internal product teams that build on top of your solutions, and you represent their needs as well as those of our end users and customers, internally and externally, as needed. To succeed in this role, you draw upon your extensive product management experience and strong technical depth across the building blocks of a modern SaaS platform: APIs, shared services, identity and access, and workflow orchestration. You have a track record of building sophisticated platform products and solving customer problems, from discovery, to implementation, to delivery. You bring a collaborative approach to this leadership role to ensure successful outcomes for our customers, while optimizing time to value. You approach your work with natural curiosity and use your growth mindset to maximize ROI for your products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field of study.
  • 5+ years of Software Product Management experience, with prior experience building platform services, shared APIs, or other developer-facing capabilities.
  • Strong technical foundation, including working knowledge of APIs, identity and access, and workflow orchestration.
  • Proven track record of managing products, innovation, and a general curiosity and drive for building great products.
  • Demonstrated fluency with modern AI tools such as Claude, and a habit of using them to bring efficiency and leverage to day-to-day product work — including research, analysis, writing, and stakeholder communication
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of Agile practices is required and familiarity with Design Thinking is a plus.
  • Experience managing SaaS or PaaS products.

  • Experience working in healthcare technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Understand company strategy and own the strategy and multi-year roadmap for your product areas, to achieve strategic outcomes and increase wallet share.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative techniques to understand current and future customer and user needs and pain points.
  • Prioritize product investments and tradeoffs using data-driven analysis and good judgement to create a compelling business case and quantify return on investment.
  • Engage with User Experience, Engineering, Technical Writers, and other product managers leveraging modern agile processes and Design Thinking and ensure concepts are valuable and feasible.
  • Liaise with Software Commercialization, Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Customer Success, and other functions to ensure successful product launches and releases.
  • Understand the broader product portfolio and how solutions work together to create value for customers.
  • Participate in industry events, and lead customer and partner facing engagements as a product expert.
  • Understand competitive landscape.
  • Inspire, energize, and motivate cross-functional teams.
