About The Position

PubMatic is seeking a strategic and data-driven Senior Product Manager, Monetization to lead the development of a product area focused on enhancing the quality, monitoring, and enrichment of signals within the bid stream. This role will define the product strategy, roadmap, and execution plan to improve monetization through signal integrity and enrichment at scale. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in AdTech, specifically programmatic advertising, and a proven track record of managing high-scale, data-intensive products. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, technical acumen, customer engagement, and leadership skills.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in the AdTech space, with a strong preference for programmatic advertising expertise.
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or Engineering preferred, as this role requires strong technical understanding.
  • Proven experience with real-time data processing, AI/ML applications in AdTech, and large-scale bid stream signal management.
  • Deep understanding of RTB (Real-Time Bidding), DSPs, SSPs, and data enrichment methodologies.
  • Strong ability to identify new monetization opportunities by bridging cross-functional insights and leveraging engineering capabilities.
  • Self-starter with strong leadership, judgment, planning, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with experience in customer-facing engagements and discovery conversations.
  • Ability to juggle multiple strategic priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Own strategy and roadmap for our RTB platform, ensuring its optimized to maximize advertising spend.
  • Develop and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Monetization. Example areas include Signal Fidelity & Enrichment, DSP traffic shaping, building new RTB frameworks, ARTF and more.
  • Identify and implement AI/ML-driven solutions to enhance bid stream data and optimize monetization opportunities.
  • Play a major role in driving scale, reliability and stability of the RTB Ad Serving platform.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, sales, and marketing teams to align product development with market needs and company objectives.
  • Spend significant portion of their time engaging with customers, stakeholders, and industry experts to gather insights, identify pain points, and shape product direction.
  • Build strong relationships with key industry peers in product.
  • Oversee the execution of product roadmap initiatives, ensuring efficient and scalable product development with minimal hands-on involvement in day-to-day operations.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure the success of product initiatives, using data-driven insights to refine strategy and execution.
  • Represent PubMatic at key industry events, Customer Advisory Forums, and QBR/ABR meetings, establishing expertise in RTB signals as they relate to monetization within the programmatic ecosystem.
  • This position requires domestic and international travel as needed.
