About The Position

MoonPay Enterprise is seeking a Senior Product Manager with deep expertise in KYB (Know Your Business) or KYC (Know Your Customer) to lead the product strategy and roadmap for business onboarding. This is a principal-level role where you will own the end-to-end business onboarding process across various models, ensuring it is scalable, efficient, and compliant. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, improving the onboarding funnel, enhancing the KYB API for partners, and integrating compliance requirements into the product logic. The role requires a hands-on approach, a strong understanding of B2B products, experience with verification vendors, and the ability to work autonomously to drive product development from conception to launch. AI fluency is expected, with daily use of AI tools for analysis, prototyping, and drafting.

Requirements

• Principal-level Product Manager with significant KYB or KYC depth.
• Experience owning onboarding, identity, verification, or risk as a platform, not just a feature.
• High agency; ability to find problems, claim them, and fix them autonomously ('zero to one' ownership).
• AI-fluent and comfortable using AI tools daily for analysis, prototyping, and drafting.
• Ability to run own queries and perform analysis without relying on other teams.
• Understanding of compliance as a design constraint, not a blocker.
• Proficiency in reading requirements matrices and translating them into API design, funnel steps, and copy.
• Deep understanding of the onboarding funnel metrics: pass rate, time-to-verified, manual review rate, cost per verification.
• Experience in API-first B2B product environments.
• Users are partner engineers and the businesses they represent.
• Experience running verification vendors (e.g., SumSub, Persona) and knowledge of when to switch, stack, or build.
• Ability to raise the bar for how compliance-heavy product work is scoped, specified, and shipped.
• Bias to action; not a reactive steward of existing flows.

• Experience with stablecoin operations, enterprise treasury, cross-border flows, or financial infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the KYB product strategy & roadmap.
• Manage end-to-end business onboarding across all MoonPay Enterprise models (partners onboarding, direct businesses, and business customers onboarding through partners).
• Connect KYB decisions with other critical areas like KYC, Travel Rule capture, banking-provider onboarding, and Issuance partner diligence.
• Expand KYB coverage across MoonPay Enterprise's three KYC delivery models.
• Gain deep product knowledge of KYB outcomes, UBO requirements, virtual account structures, and API behavior.
• Own and optimize the onboarding funnel, focusing on pass rate, time-to-verified (targeting 48-72h), manual review rate, and drop-off per step.
• Instrument and measure approval speed and rejection quality, and implement improvements.
• Enhance the rejection user experience, providing clear reasons and resubmission flows via the API.
• Develop and refine the KYB API surface, including statuses, webhooks, document submission, and edge cases.
• Ensure partners can integrate KYB within weeks and self-serve onboarding questions.
• Translate compliance-approved onboarding matrices into product logic, handling differences in US and non-US regulations.
• Integrate compliance requirements such as EDD triggers, high-risk classification, prohibited industries, and Travel Rule capture into the product.
• Manage the verification stack, including vendor orchestration (e.g., SumSub), build-versus-buy decisions, cost per verification, automation rate, and vendor performance.
• Evaluate and implement AI-assisted review where appropriate, ensuring it does not increase risk.
• Ensure KYB compatibility with new banking providers' onboarding requirements.
