About The Position

MoeGo is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead its fintech product line, including MoeGo Pay, invoicing, embedded accounting, and future financial products like invoice factoring and embedded payroll. The role involves stabilizing and enhancing existing financial workflows while also building a more sophisticated suite of financial products. The Product Manager will collaborate closely with engineering, design, go-to-market teams, and third-party financial infrastructure providers. This position is suitable for someone operating at a senior-to-staff level, responsible for end-to-end product leadership, strategy setting, and elevating team performance.

Requirements

  • Fintech product experience.
  • Hands-on Product Management experience with invoicing, payments, billing, or financial workflows, preferably B2B or SMB-facing.
  • Intuitive understanding of reconciliation, payment states, disputes, and partial payments.
  • Ability to manage complex and imperfect systems, prioritizing technical debt and triaging bugs in close partnership with engineering.
  • Strong product sense for financial flows, with a track record of shipping reliable financial experiences and considering edge cases and failure states.
  • Cross-functional fluency, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams, and influence third-party partners.
  • Data fluency, including defining metrics, working with analytics, and using experimentation to refine financial products.
  • Ability to speak both English and Mandarin fluently.

Nice To Haves

  • Embedded finance / fintech platform exposure.
  • Familiarity at the product-API level with infrastructure like Stripe, Adyen, or embedded payroll providers (e.g., Check, Gusto's API).

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for MoeGo's payments, invoicing, and accounting products.
  • Analyze complex financial workflows to identify and address critical, UX-breaking issues, and develop a remediation roadmap.
  • Focus on the complete user journey for money movement, including handling payment failures, disputes, partial payments, and reconciliation issues.
  • Define key metrics such as payment success rates, dispute rates, and deposit conversion, and work with analytics to track them.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver reliable financial experiences.
  • Influence partners and third parties as embedded products are developed.
  • Make and communicate clear tradeoffs, balancing system cleanup with new feature development to maintain trust with the team and leadership.
