About The Position

  • Intuitive understanding of reconciliation, payment states, disputes, and partial payments.
  • Ability to bring order to complex and imperfect systems, partnering with engineering to prioritize technical debt and triage bugs.
  • Strong product sense for financial flows, with a track record of shipping reliable financial experiences and critical thinking about edge cases and failure states.
  • Cross-functional fluency, with effective collaboration across EPD and GTM teams.
  • Ability to influence and partner with third parties.
  • Data fluency, including defining metrics, working with analytics, and using experimentation for financial products.
  • Bilingual ability in English and Mandarin.

Nice To Haves

  • Embedded finance / fintech platform exposure.
  • Familiarity at the product-API level with infrastructure like Stripe, Adyen, or embedded payroll providers (e.g., Check, Gusto's API).

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for MoeGo's payments, invoicing, and accounting products.
  • Analyze complex financial workflows to identify and prioritize critical, UX-breaking issues and build a remediation roadmap.
  • Focus on the complete user journey of money movement, addressing scenarios like failed payments, disputes, partial payments, and reconciliation issues.
  • Define key metrics such as payment success rates, dispute rates, and deposit conversion, and work with analytics to track them.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and GTM teams to deliver reliable financial experiences.
  • Influence partners and third parties as embedded products are developed.
  • Make and communicate clear tradeoffs, balancing system cleanup with new feature development to maintain team and leadership trust.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package (base salary, performance bonus, and benefits).
  • Flexible benefit plans for employees and their family members at no cost to employees.
  • 401(k) matching.
