About The Position

Fi is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Community & Social to lead the next chapter of our company, which is built around community. This role will be responsible for scaling community features from a feature into a growth engine. The ideal candidate will have experience defining the long-term vision for social features, driving habit formation, and working cross-functionally to deliver impactful products. Fi is a passionate team dedicated to transforming the human-pet relationship through cutting-edge technology, aiming to improve the lives of millions of pets by bridging the communication gap between pets and humans.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years shipping social or gamification features at scale in a consumer product.
  • Fluent in industry best practices and able to speak to specific loops built and their impact.
  • Behavioral design intuition: thinking in habits, hooks, streaks, and reciprocity.
  • Social-as-acquisition thinking: treating social features as a growth channel, not just a retention surface.
  • Mobile product depth across iOS and Android including notification fatigue, deep linking, share sheets, and App Store policies.
  • Experience using modern AI tooling daily to spec features, analyze engagement data, and prototype loops.
  • A genuine care for making life better for dogs and their owners.

Nice To Haves

  • Borrowing what works from platforms like Strava, Duolingo, and Fitbit.
  • Designing for Fi's unique constraint: your dog can't tap the screen.
  • Using Claude and cowork.
  • Shipping faster than a traditional PM cycle allows.

Responsibilities

  • Define the long-term vision for community and social features including leaderboards, streaks, friend graphs, group features, and local connection.
  • Carry the work from concept to launch for community and social features.
  • Frame social features as a growth channel where users bring in other users because the product is better with friends.
  • Design notification, streak, and re-engagement mechanics that make Fi a daily ritual, with a clear theory of how habits form.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, ML, data, marketing, and CX to ship on a weekly cadence.
  • Set the bar on metrics such as sessions, return rate, viral coefficient, and social actions per user.
  • Run experiments to move key metrics.
