The challenge is to own a strategic area of the company focused on leveraging large language models, agents, and internal APIs to deliver automated customer support and operations. The position sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and applied AI, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on exploration with modern LLM systems. The role involves building and scaling a sophisticated AI system that includes a production-grade conversational AI experience automating over 70% of inbound sales and service, human-in-the-loop systems for chat evaluation and improvement, internal process automation flows, and integration with the ChatGPT App for insurance and repair quotes in partnership with OpenAI. The responsibilities also include evaluating new models and AI capabilities, such as voice models and computer use agents, for suitability in a regulated production environment.
